August Rendezvous 1983
By Ruth Bullock
Life is like a summer stream
It flows over rock and sand
One day you meet a man, Tom Brown,
Who teaches awareness of sight and sound.
He is a man who God sent here and
will blow your mind in this sphere.
We are all unique in our own special way
but he is one that has a lot to say
about the birds, the bees, the animals and plants,
and many other things including ants.
When you see the Jersey devil, don't be too sure
if it's Tom in disguise or some animal out
of the mire.
The closing ceremony of the peace pipe was
heard by people, insects, animals, and birds.
What a beautiful thing to participate in
with spirits all around.
I love you all and will see you next year at
the Rendezvous.
