The Tracker Magazine - Vol 2 No. 2&3, Spring-Summer 1983

Ellsworth Gasper
Tom Brown Jr.

There are times in your life that you meet someone that becomes very special to you. Such is Ellsworth Gasper, a person I consider one of the most powerful medicine people I have met. He is on a very difficult path in life; searching and reviving many of the ancient customs and spiritualism, walking a traditional path, and bringing love and hope to all people. Despite the racial butcherings he has had during his lifetime, he can still walk a path of love, peace, and joy.

His dream is to start a school that will teach the old ways to the Native American children. This school will be a center for people to find food and clothing where there would otherwise be none. It will cater to the needy elders and children, without being controlled by any outside organization or governing body. His dream is my dream also, and I am backing his efforts any way I can.
