Fox Walking
Tom Brown Jr.

You may believe that fox walking is a very comfortable, secure way to walk, that it gives you the ability to lift your eves off the ground and look around more often, and it increases your distance, but it seems to slow you down considerably. This is a necessity. If you try to walk too fast the fox walk will not produce the results that it was meant for. Fox walking is meant to slow your walk. Most. of us tend to go out into the wilderness and keep our deadening, society-oriented pace while passing through the woods, fields, or wild places. Fox walking the way I teach it is menat to slow most people down who I feel would otherwise travel too quickly through these areas and miss so much. If you find that fox walking tends to slow you down, that's exactly what it's meant to do.

Slow down. Relax. Look around. There no need to carry the deadening pace of society back into the woods with you.
