This party fire was still smoldering
from the night before.

But even with these
intrusions, the Desert is still has an overall beauty. |
|
|

A pitch pine's precarious
struggle for survival, very near the dirt bikes and monster truck
tracks.
David vs. Goliath?
But, in this case, who is the "David" and who is the
"Goliath"?
Perhaps Nature will eventually win out.
